Hello, I’m Rowena, pictured here with my husband Jerry on our wedding day at our local Mairie.
We adore France, and in particular the beautiful Lot and Dordogne departments where the scenery, people, food, wine, and general relaxed pace of life are all a joy. It is also incredibly dog friendly. Most restaurants and shops are relaxed about dogs coming too.
We had day-dreamed about moving full time to France (from Wales) for a few years, and in 2019 finally got the opportunity to make it a reality.
The gite provides a home from home for you, based on our own experience over the years, of what makes the perfect holiday getaway: a generously equipped kitchen, quality fixtures, fittings and linens, along with a beautiful pool and a private enclosed outdoor space where adults, children and dogs can relax and unwind. All within walking distance of a bar/ restaurant with lots to do and see in the surrounding areas.
